Text Box: HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL G/Dorape Navodya School  was known as the Dorake Buddhist mixed school at he beginning. According to the first log book available  it was started on 23rd May 1933 AD. A school inspector has come to accept it on 12th November 1934. On 6th May 1935 it has been named as Silver Jubilee Buddhist School to commemorate the silver jubilee of  George V (1865-1936), King of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.  Following pages from the first first log book proves those facts.
