FOUNDER
G/Dorape Maha Vidyalaya was established on 23rd June 1933 by the Chief Incumbent of Yatagala Hettagala Maha Pirivena Ven. Kalahe Gunaratana Thero as “Dorake Mixed School”. During the tenure of Ven. Kalahe Gunaratana There as the Principal, a group of 60 students studied in the Bandaranayaka Hall of the school.
